Some REALLY good deals!

For those of you Memphians who are looking for a great deal head over to the Michaels by the Wolfchase Mall! I went last night and discovered they were having a Spring grab bag event. I had my eye on some clearance frames a couple of weeks ago, that I thought were a good price then at $5 a frame. Normally they were $35. But my gut told me to hold off and keep looking (how cheap am I!) and when I went back on Monday I ended up paying $1 a piece! So I got $350 dollars worth of frames for $8.00!!! These are the moments when I know my frugalness is really paying off! I also got some great scrapbook paper from this event for ultra cheap!

My other fantastic find was at ToysRUs, believe it or not! They have been having an extra 25% off of their already low clearance prices and there were some really good deals! (I don't know if this promotion is still going on--but it doesn't hurt to check!) I signed up for the ToysRus email ages ago, and sometimes they send me some pretty sweet coupons. Last week they sent me one for $5 off any purchase. So pretty much, $5 for free! So, I was looking around and found a game that was originally $50, was on clearance for $10 and with the extra 25% off was only $7.50. So I used my coupon and ended up only paying less than $3 out of pocket. Not too shabby!

Anyways, long story short, make sure you sign up for emails from stores you visit frequently. You never know how it might pay off. Sometimes it's an extra percentage off coupon, sometimes it's almost like free money (as mentioned above!).

Don't be afraid to search for a good deal! If you are looking for something specific, find out by asking at the stores you are looking in when they mark their items down each week. (For example, Target usually does this on Tuesdays) If you don't need an item right away, do a little research! It definitely pays off in the end!!!

Good luck finding whatever it is you are looking for! And remember, if it's something we can all benefit from, pass it on!!! :)

And here is one more deal that I have taken advantage of in the past! It's a good one!!! I love these things!

www.uddercovers.com has a new promotion going where you can get any of their nursing covers (regular price $32) free! The code is "Thanks". If you're not currently nursing, this is your chance to stock up on great baby shower and Holiday gifts! Once you get to the site, click on "Shop Now" and select the cover or gift set you would like. Type "Thanks" into the promo code box and it will bring your product total to $0. All you pay is the shipping. You can use the code more than once - you just have to open a new browser window to do so. Again, if you are nursing, these are a must have! Whoever came up with the idea was a genius! :)
